Where the official descriptions overlap

Both official Steam pages describe farming, fishing, mining, crafting, relationships, seasonal community life and underground combat. Each also advertises 12 marriage candidates. Fields of Mistria additionally foregrounds magic, animal color breeding and rebuilding Mistria after an earthquake; Stardew Valley describes restoring the community center or choosing the Joja route.

Those are differences in published feature descriptions, not measurements of content volume, quality or difficulty. The table deliberately makes no claim that either game has “more” to do.

The clearest documented difference

Platform and multiplayer availability are the most concrete differences in the checked sources. Fields of Mistria is officially available on Windows PC and compatible with Steam Deck, while Stardew Valley's official FAQ lists desktop, console and mobile versions. Steam also lists co-op modes for Stardew Valley, while Fields of Mistria's Steam page lists single-player and its official sources do not state a future multiplayer plan.
